The iPhone 15 Pro Max will be thicker than its predecessor, despite being slightly reduced in height and width, but could offer a camera bump that sticks out less, according to recently shared CAD renders and dimensions.
The renders agree with other reports about the design of the iPhone 15 Pro models, showing a new frame with slightly curved edges. The way the device is designed clearly shows the added curvature in the new design, as well as the thickness of the bezels, which are expected to be reduced compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Based on these dimensions, the device will be smaller in both height and width compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, but will be 5% thicker. It also looks like it will have a thinner camera bump than previously expected, being 0.59mm thinner than that of the iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max.

Ice also released renders based on the CAD and dimensions he shared.
Essentially, although the iPhone, excluding the camera array, will appear to be 0.4mm thicker than the iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max, the device as a whole, including the camera, will be 0.19mm thinner.
The volume and power buttons are also absent here, as we expect them to be replaced by solid-state buttons this year.
