2023 is the year of foldable smartphones. Those companies that have entered this market will release their strongest proposals, while all others will make their official debut. However, relatively soon we may see the first foldable smartphone coming from a leaker.
The well-known and authoritative leaker of the Chinese social network Weibo, Digital Chat Station “announced” that it is preparing its own foldable phone. In a recent post on Weibo, Digital Chat Station revealed that the foldable smartphone it’s working on has now been sent to production, though it said it’s not yet sure if it will be a mass-produced device.
More interesting is the fact that the leaker describes the foldable phone as a “flagship”, implying that it will have really powerful features.Finally, Digital Chat Station said it doesn’t see its first foldable smartphone going into mass production anytime soon, however large-scale it may be.
Either way, we reckon we’ll be hearing more about the device soon, possibly from DCS himself. Stay tuned.
