Apple has launched an investigation into a new problem that appeared on its devices. This time it has to do with the screens of the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2.
This can be seen from an internal memo that the company shared today with its authorized service providers. The problem is with the screens, which show flickering with fluctuations in brightness when Always On Display is enabled. The memo doesn’t mention which Apple Watches are affected, but the problem appears to be mainly in the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2, which have just been released.
Users have reported the problem on the Apple support forums, on Mac Rumors and on Reddit and since the company informs the official repair centers about it, it goes on to say that it is aware of it and that it recognizes the problem.

The problem seems to exist in all versions of WatchOS 10. The problem with iPhone 15 screens will be solved with iOS 17.1 According to the memo, repair centers should not fix the problem, advising to tell the public to keep their watches updated to the latest version of Watch OS.
This means that there will be a software update that will fix the problem. Watch OS 10.1 will be released next week, which hopefully will fix the issues.
