The Vivo X90 Pro is among the first headliners at Mobile World Congress 2023. The Chinese company has announced its new flagship Android smartphone for the European market. The collaboration with ZEISS has been renewed in relation to the photographic sector, in which particular emphasis has been placed.
Its announcement in China earlier this year of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200 5G processor came as a surprise, but the explanation came with the launch of the X90 Pro Plus in China, which is based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Coming back to the Pro, the SoC is paired with 2 Gigabytes of RAM and 256 Gigabytes of storage.
The 4,870mAh battery charges at 120W with a charger included in the retail package. The smartphone can be charged to 50% in 8 minutes and 10 seconds with fast charging. In balanced mode, however, it takes 29 minutes for the battery to reach 100%.
On the back, the camera setup consists of the main 50 MP 1″ sensor from Sony, which is combined with a 12 Megapixel ultrawide and a 50 Megapixel portrait sensor. They are hosted on a circular camera island. The lenses are made by ZEISS, which also collaborated on the software part for the photography sector.
In front is a 6.78″ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels, curved at the edges and with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. This is a high-tech panel with a maximum maximum brightness of 1,300 nits. On the software side there is obviously Android 13.
The Vivo X90 Pro costs 1,299 €
