Samsung and AMD partnered in 2019 to bring AMD Radeon graphics technology to Exynos processors, with the 2022 Exynos 2200 being the only SoC to result from this collaboration so far.
Now, the two companies have announced that they are expanding the deal, with the aim of bringing AMD’s Radeon graphics to future Samsung chipsets. The two technology companies said the deal will “bring multiple generations of AMD Radeon high-performance, ultra-low-power graphics solutions to an expanded portfolio of Samsung Exynos SoCs.The reference to the “expanded portfolio” of chipsets suggests that we could see Exynos processors with AMD graphics in more categories.

Perhaps, the two companies plan to create a mid-range Exynos with AMD GPUs. If they do do something like this, then Samsung will be able to separate its mid-range smartphones from those of the competition.
