When Microsoft released Windows 11 there was a heated debate about the minimum system requirements.
Indeed, its moves have had the effect of leaving unsupported millions of PCs that would really have no problem running Windows 11. However, Windows 12’s minimum system requirements are expected to be close to those of Windows 11
Specifically.
- Processor – 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit
- Processor or System on a Chip (SoC)
- Memory – 4 gigabytes (GB) or greater Storage – 64 GB or more of available storage space System Firmware – UEFI, Secure Boot Capable
- TPM – Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0 Graphics
- Card – Compatible with DirectX 12 or later with WDDM 2.0 driver
- Display – High definition (720p) display that is 9” or greater diagonally, 8 bits per color channel Internet connection:
- Internet connectivity is necessary to perform updates, and to download and use some features.
