Android companies and Apple are always stealing ideas from each other, it’s a reality we’re all used to. Honor, the company that was sold by Huawei in 2020, was the first to have the feature called Dynamic Island, which however became widely known with the iPhone 14 Pro according to CEO Zhao Ming. Speaking during MWC Shanghai, Ming said the industry is being held back by a lack of companies that are truly innovating. He points out that the Dynamic Island feature is similar to the Honor V20 Smart Capsule, which debuted in 2019.
The Dynamic Island of the iPhone 14 Pro is a pill-shaped hole with smart features, with it changing size and shape according to notifications and activities that take place, such as incoming calls, etc. It’s one of the signature features of premium iPhones that even the basic iPhone 14 models don’t have.

However, Honor points out that it was the first to present it as an idea. However, as phonearena rightly points out, it was Apple that brought it to its current form and expanded it, with Honor itself not even emphasizing it when announcing the device.
