The Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 are expected to debut on March 16, but a YouTube channel has posted a hands-on video of the devices in question.
It’s hard to tell the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 apart from the back alone. Up front, there is a significant difference, the fact that the Galaxy A54 houses the selfie camera in a punch-hole while the A34 in a U-shaped notch.
There is no camera bump on the back, instead three sensors which will protrude from the body of the devices. The Galaxy A34 has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of video storage. This space will be the main one in the case of the A54. Samsung is expected to use the Exynos 1380 SoC in the A54. There will also be a 5,000mAh battery with 25w fast charging.
For its part, the Galaxy A34 will have a Mediatek Dimensity 1080 chip, a 48MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide.
As with other high-end Galaxy smartphones, Samsung is promising four OS updates and five years of security updates for the 2023 Galaxy A series. In fact, an early listing reveals that the price of the Galaxy A54 in Austria will reach $499 for the 128 GB version.
