MediaTek has announced the Dimensity 9200, a processor that outperforms Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. However, the latter has yet to say its last word for this year, as it is working on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 that will launch later this year.
Chinese social network Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station, which is preparing its own foldable smartphone, has revealed the devices that will use Qualcomm’s next flagship SoC, and it looks like the processor will debut very soon.
According to the leaker, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 will be inside the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, iQOO 11S, and Realme GT Neo 5 Pro, which will be released in July. In the same month, the Redmi K60 Ultra will also be launched, which will use the Dimensity 9200+.
He also said that three of these smartphones will have 1.5K displays, while the iQOO 11S will feature a 2K display. However, the iQOO 11S will have a plastic frame, unlike the other three which will have an aluminum frame. July is expected to be a very strong month, in many ways.
