The Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro feature the Tensor G3 with the SoC built on Samsung’s 4nm architecture. However, it appears that this is even slower than the A14 Bionic, an SoC that debuted three years ago when it announced the iPhone 12 series.
Although the Tensor G3 scores better on Geekbench compared to the Tensor G2, it lags behind the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the Apple A17 Pro. It’s even slower than the A14 Bionic.

As wccftech notes, it might offer better efficiency compared to those generations. In any case, if you want the most pure Android available, then the Google Pixel 8 Pro is a good choice with so many AI features that Google equips it with, however the numbers speak for themselves.
