NVIDIA announces its new unified application that will gradually replace GeForce Experience, offering improved features and automatic updates.
NVIDIA is moving forward with a major software upgrade, introducing the new NVIDIA App that combines features from GeForce Experience and the NVIDIA Control Panel into a single program. According to the official announcement of the company, the new application comes to replace GeForce Experience, which had shown delays in its updates recently.
The new NVIDIA App will be available as an optional download in the drivers package, giving users the option to install it. An important advantage of the new application is the automatic updating of NVIDIA drivers, a function that will be managed directly by the software. It is worth noting that the NVIDIA Control Panel is not being removed, as the company has not announced any changes regarding this tool. Users will be able to use both programs at the same time, as the integration of Control Panel functions will be done gradually.
The official launch of the NVIDIA App marks the completion of the migration of features from GeForce Experience and NVIDIA RTX Experience. The app will soon be included as an optional option in the company’s Game Ready Driver and Studio Ready Drivers.
The announcement comes about a month before the launch of the GeForce RTX 50 series, NVIDIA’s new graphics cards for gamers. While no specific features have been announced for the new line of graphics cards, the company is urging users to upgrade to the new app.
