CES 2024 without Nvidia is not possible. The company announced its refreshed GeForce RTX 40 Super line of graphics cards, which will replace most of its existing non-Super cards.
The new series includes the RTX 4080 Super, the RTX 4070 Ti Super and the RTX 4070 Super. Apart from the RTX 4070 Super, the other two models will replace their non-Super versions, while the regular RTX 4070 drops to a lower price. The big change in all these cards is the increase in the number of CUDA cores. The RTX 4080 Super gains 5.3% more cores, while the RTX 4070 Ti gains 10%. The RTX 4070, meanwhile, gets 22% more cores.

The 4070 Ti also has increased memory, now featuring 16GB of GDDR6X with a 256-bit memory bus, just like the 4080 models. This gives it a pretty significant 33% boost in memory bandwidth. The 4080 Super gets a slight increase in memory bandwidth as it has higher clocked memory. Apart from that, there are no other changes in these GPUs and even the power consumption figures are largely similar. Externally, the Founders Edition models of the RTX 4080 Super and RTX 4070 Super now feature a darker gunmetal finish on the metal frame and darker branding. The RTX 4070 Ti Super still doesn’t have an FE model and is only available through partners.
The Nvidia RTX 4080 Super will be available from January 31 for $999 – a significant drop from the $1199 price tag for the entry-level model. The RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4070 Super will be available for $799 and $599, the same prices as their non-Super versions, from January 24th and January 17th, respectively. Finally, the price of the RTX 4070 drops to $549.
