The presentation of Microsoft’s new Surface PCs at the Ignite conference may have given the first clue to the new user interface that we will see with the arrival of the Windows 12 version.
This is claimed by the website Windows Central, which is famous for uncovering the smallest detail of these company presentations.
During the Microsoft Teams app report, Microsoft stated that Windows 12 will probably launch in 2024 and the slide revealed the new UI which clearly has quite a few differences compared to what we see in Windows 11.

The taskbar is located at the bottom part with fairly large icons of various applications, while at the top there is the search bar centrally, on the left side the weather and on the right various information (date, time, Wi-Fi, battery).
The Windows Central team redesigned the image based on what Microsoft had shown them in an internal presentation of a prototype version of Windows 12. This means that it is not entirely certain how it will reach end users in this form.

However, the project is codenamed NextValley and the company’s goal is to make it equally easy to use and functional on all Windows devices, since there is now a wide variety of different formats (hybrid PCs, touch screens, laptops with a folding screen, etc.).
