YouTube’s ads are very annoying, we all know that, yet they are what allow Google to maintain its infrastructure.
But since YouTube keeps increasing the length of ads without being able to bypass them, as well as blocking users who use ad blockers, maybe it’s finally time for Google to come up with a cheaper package? We know very well that the platform on which YouTube is based, namely Google Cloud, costs, costs dearly, and someone has to foot the bill. But as our colleague at 9to5google points out, anyone who goes to watch YouTube in its play
The solution to all this is YouTube Premium. YouTube Premium currently costs 8.49 euros in our country, but it still does not mean that you will have YouTube without ads. Many creators insert sponsored clips into the videos that there is no way to bypass them, unless you resort to SponsorBlock type solutions.
YouTube should definitely consider adding a cheaper package, which at least for Greece should be somewhere around 3 euros. We would gladly pay such an amount, but not 8.49 euros. Not 8.49 euros, a price that comes close to the prices of Netflix and other streaming platforms simply for blocking ads on YouTube and YouTube Music.

YouTube Revanced has proven to be a reliable successor to Vanced. YouTube is not going to change. And neither is it going to introduce a cheaper package.
Anyone who wants to pay for it is free to do so, but we don’t think it can justify its price. Instead the price will increase continuously. Just last October, the price of Family in the US went up to $24 a month.
