Qualcomm in recent years has been giving us the best SoCs on the market, in the Android camp, even when they are not as good as we would like, like the Snapdragon 888. But today we have the first benchmark of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is the upcoming chip for flagships of the company. We may be several months away from the first device to launch with the processor in question, but its Geekbench results are very promising for an implementation in the early stages of design.
The source of the benchmark is the famous Digital Chat Station, which has given us very reliable information in the past. In fact, Geekbench is in version 5, which gives slightly lower results than its newest, 6th version. The device that has Snapdaragon 8 Gen 3 and ran the benchmark is the Nubia NX769J, which is probably the REDMAGIC 9. Although the device name can be easily changed to not reveal the device in benchmarks, it is difficult to change the processor name. Be that as it may, it gave us a very strong score, which as the device gets closer to its release, it will reach its maximum performance.
The device appears to be running Android 14, which is still in beta. According to the Geekbench listing, we have a prime core, clocked at 3.19GHz, probably Cortex-X4. With it we have another 5 performance Cortex-A720 cores at 2.96GHz and finally we have 2 efficiency Cortex-A520 cores, for low consumption in more basic applications, clocked at 2.27GHz.
Digital Chat Station reports that this is the standard version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, implying that there will also be a special version. We’re guessing it will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, which will be slightly overclocked.

Renders of the iPhone 15 Pro show that Titan Gray will replace a favorite color The result it gave is 1596 in single core and 5977 in multicore, which are higher than Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but until its announcement sometime in October or November and the first device that will wear it, we will see a significant increase in performance .
This season looks like it’s going to be a very strong one for the Android camp!
