The Xiaomi 14 series will make its official debut on October 31st in China, and with it, Xiaomi’s HyperOS. Hyper OS is the new operating system, which will replace MIUI on all Xiaomi smartphones. Evan Blass today drops another important piece of information as he reveals that both the regular and Pro versions will get a new Leica Summilux lens system.

In the Xiaomi 14 Pro we will have the opportunity to meet a flat screen as we have seen from recent leaked renders, while the bezels will be particularly thin. It will be very interesting to see if Xiaomi chooses to equip the device with a variable aperture. The Xiaomi 13 Pro also arrived with a one-inch camera, so there’s a chance we’ll see it here as well.
It’s worth noting that a Xiaomi 14 Ultra is also rumored, although chances are it will be announced next year.
